I adore this little beauty. It was a gift from my fiancé a while back and it has completely been my go to blush ever since.
I use it pretty lightly so it isn't too heavy on my cheeks and i think it give me a nice flush of colour with a slight shimmer. I have seen this being raved about so much on peoples blogs so when i ventured to a Nars counter i knew straight away i wanted to walk away with this. It is a beautiful peachy pink with a slight gold shimmer to it.

Benefit Lipstick | Review
"benefit love your look full-finish lipsticks are the ultimate vacation colours... glide them on for a dreamy look day or night!"
As you all know, I'm not one for experimenting with lipsticks. I tend to stick to 3 out of around 14 lipsticks i own. 17's Beehive, Rimmel's Vintage Pink and MUA's Number 7.
Last month i attended Benefits Fine One One Event. (which I'm yet to blog about, keep your eyes peeled for it). I couldn't not leave empty handed so i picked up one of their Full Finish Lipsticks in the shade Do Tell.
It is slightly pinker than the Rimmel Vintage Pink one, however it is much more purple than pink, and a lot more glossy. It is really moisturising and looks great on. It is so soft to apply and really pigmented which is great. I love the fact that i feel comfortable wearing this with anything.
I am a little disappointed in the lasting time though. On myself, id say it lasts around 3 - 4 hours on a general day.
This is my first benefit product, bar samples, and i am slightly not impressed. Only slightly mind. Only because i thought it would last much longer than it did. However, i do love the product and the packaging looks great. If i am feeling dangerous i may pick up a few more that i have my eye on. I don't mind applying lippy a few times a day ;)

MAC Lipstick | Bombshell
I have been lusting after this for ages and i finally got it, thanks to my lovely Fiancé.
This is a gorgeous shade of pink with a gold shimmer to it. It is from the Frost range.
I would recommend moisturising your lips before hand as it does tend to enhance chapped lips. It doesn't dry out your lips once it is applied though as it has a gorgeous, creamy texture to it.
I cannot wait to wear this in the summer, i think if the light hits it right it will bring out the gold shimmer in it. It is a really wearable shade with it being a medium pink. I'm not that daring with my lipsticks but this is one of my faves now.
You can purchase this from MAC for £14.00

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil.
"A precious blend of 6 flower extracts with nourishing properties for luminous colour and sumptuous softness"
This is a product I was a bit sceptical about. Only because I have tried out a hair oil before promising the world when actually, it did nothing hit make my hair feel greasy.
I didn't actually purchase this product, my mum did. Every time I stayed over and had a shower I always put a bit in as I thought it gave a great shine and smelt really nice. As my mum didn't really use it, hair products really aren't her thing, she decided to give me it.
After a few weeks of applying this after the shower I am in love. It smells great, it is actually weightless. Once applied I cannot feel the product on my hair just super soft shiny hair. This product (or at least on the packaging) doesn't promise that it repairs split ends, thickens, promotes growth and all the rest you see, so you cannot not like this product in my opinion. Unless you don't like the smell. Even though it doesn't say anything about perfecting split ends, i do feel it helps keep them a bit tidier and less frizzy looking. My hair is in desperate need of a good chop. I'm just a wuss and not a fan of hairdressers.
You can purchase this product from Boots at £8.49 for 100ml (9/02/13)

Treacle Moon | Warm Cinnamon Nights Bath & Shower Gel.
"She watched the ice flowers in the window pane fade... her eyes slowly closed in the cinnamon scented bubbles and the soft darkness told stories to the laughing moon"
I'm actually stuck for words to write about on this product without repeating my self.
Treacle Moon are an online cosmetic company with great products at really affordable prices. I have tried a couple other products of theirs and loved them so when i was asked to review this little beauty i jumped at the chance.
Cinnamon, is my favourite scent. It contains the scents of warming cinnamon, spicy clove, syrup ginger, vanilla, a drizzle of sweet hones, zesty orange and a hint of comforting stewed apple. Perfect for winter nights. I do love a good shower gel, i usually try and find one with a nice scent, that isn't too over powering but will leave a slight scent on my skin. This one is far too perfect as it also doesn't dry my skin out, which i have found a lot of products do.
I cannot praise this product enough. As this was a PR sample it isn't available on the website, however you can purchase this exclusively at Tescos for £1.99.

Purity Skin Care - Review
Recently i was asked if i would like to review some skin care products. I jumped at the chance as my good friend WhenFlowersFall had the exact same products and i loved the idea of a nice skin product set that is light on this skin and unscented. I was free, however this is my 100% completely honest review. Their products are all Organic, Fragrance free and for sensitive skin. All of their products and more information can be found HERE
Purity's philosophy is Intelligent Ingredients, few in numbers and highly effective, a combination which results in beautiful skin and is kind to the earth.
Top row L-R Facial Wash, Conditioning Cleansing Lotion, Facial Exfoliator
Bottom row L-R Anti-Aging Moisturiser, Anti-Aging Serum and Mask, Regenerating Overnight Moisturiser.
Less is more in beauty.
They have 2 different ranges.
The morning range, which consists of:
★ Face Wash - 4.99
I love this product, i think its my favourite. I use this mostly when iv been naughty and gone to bed with my make up on as i feel it completely removes any left over and freshens up my face. The exfoliating beads which are ground coconut shell aren't to hard or scratchy on the skin so your not in pain whilst using it. There is absolutely no scent to it and doesn't sting if you get it a little to close to your eyes. As it is an exfoliator i also use it on the tops of my arms where i have some strange little spotty rash which I'm always being told is a milk rash, however i call it chicken skin. I feel that it also helps remove that as well as those pesky blackheads.
★ Facial Exfoliator - 5.99 for 150ml
This is a great everyday facial wash. If you aren't a fan of washing your face with products, sounds gross but i generally just use warm water as many products iv tried dries my skin out or leaves it feeling very tight and just generally awful. This product does leave it feeling a little tight (I'm not sure why my skin even does this, anyone else get it? Maybe its just the clean feeling haha.) The scent reminds me of swimming pools, and the smell of chlorine. To me, that's not a bad thing as i actually love that smell. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or irritate which is brilliant. I haven't used it every day as i like to give my skin a break/change but so far i am a huge fan of it and it is my usual go to facial wash, apart from plain warm water and a flannel. I really like the pop up style lid. Easily satisfied.
★ Facial Moisturiser - 5.99 for 100ml
I don't have this product, however if it lives up to the greatness of the other products I'm sure it would be great. Something i will be willing to pay for, along with all the other products.
★ Anti-aging Moisturiser - 7.99 for 50ml
The consistency is quite thick. The directions say to firmly apply a generous amount to your face and neck. I don't particularly think you need to apply a lot as a little goes a long way. It is slightly scented however it is a very natural, chemical free scent of Almonds. I don't feel that i need an anti aging skin product as i don't think i have any wrinkles or signs of aging on my face. I am only 22 after all. However, it is a very moisturising product and is great for dry skin patches.
★ Anti Aging Mask and Serum - 8.99 for 50ml.
With its very light, gel like consistency its a great face mask. Its they type that hardens on your face and makes it feel tight, but not in a nasty get this of my face kind of way. Once washed off with a little warm water it leaves your skin feeling very soft. I applied a good amount to cover every millimetre of my face and neck and have hardly made a dent in the product. Once washed of my skin feels amazingly soft.
The Evening Range, which consists of:
★ Conditioning Cleansing Lotion - 4.99 for 150 ml
Again this product has the satisfying pop up lid. It says it is a make up remover, and i agree. This is one product i have never been convinced by when i have been browsing the shops for skin care as i have always seen it as a over hyped facial wash and in all honesty it is the first cleansing lotion i have tried so cant really compare it to anything iv used before. It is great at removing stubborn waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I don't like rubbing my eyes as they always end up really puffy the next day, which i usually have to do when I'm generally washing my face. There is no need with this, a couple of rubs with cotton wool or a soft flannel and its gone. Perfect.
★ Regenerating Overnight Moisturiser - 7.99 for 50ml
Personally I'm not a fan of applying moisturiser on a night as i don't like that greasy feeling before bed, however this isn't greasy at all. Its light and soaks into your skin fairly quickly leaving it feeling very soft and smooth. It reminds me of a body butter thickness. Again you can be very sparse with the product as a little goes a long way. It isnt a product i use every night.
Overall, the products are great. I am not just saying this because i was sent them for free. I can thank Purity Skin Care enough. In all honesty, after reading my friends review i would have considered buying some, if not all the products myself. My skin feels a lot better for using these products, i rarely have dry skin and on the occasions i do i just pop a little of their Anti-Aging Moisturiser on and it disappears straight away.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
I recently received a sample of the Maybelline BB Cream thanks to Scotcampus.
I am a huge fan of the Garnier BB Cream and have previously blogged about it HERE, so i was a bit nervous about trying this one, which is why i opted to receive a sample rather than spending £7.99 from Boots.
However after trying this out a few days ago i genuinely like it. I would even go as far as saying i prefer it to the Garnier one.
I feel that it has more of a pink tone to it, while the Garnier one has a more of a yellowish tone. (i apologise if i keep comparing the two).
The Maybelline BB Cream is very light and gives a light coverage, very similar to a tinted moisturiser. It also has a SPF 30 which is perfect to use in the summer of if you are going away as it is light you wont feel cakey in the hot weather.
There are 4 Shades to choose from - Light, Universal Glow, Medium and Dark. Personally i think there is a colour that will blend into and suit all skin tones.
When applied to the skin it blends in really well and gives me a dewy finish. It almost hides the dark eye circles and definitely covers up my freckles. The consistency is quite thin, similar to a moisturising cream which is really good as it doesn't sit on your face and feel thick.
I really do like this product and as I'm going away in September i may have to buy the full size version for during the day.

Johnsons Skin Perfecting Oil For Stretch Marks | Week Four | Final Review
I'm sorry its late, again. Iv feel like i haven't really been into blogging lately or that iv not had much to say about anything.
However, this is my final post on this product.
So, i have used this Oil for the past 4 weeks. I believe it is a nice product to use, not too oily that it just sits on your skin all day/night and doesn't have an over powering scent.
The results however are pretty minimal. The bottle and website says it makes visible changes in just 4 week. From looking in a mirror i cannot see any changes anymore. I don't know if this is the angle I'm looking at them from or it really just hasn't made much of a difference. As i said in a previous post, the smaller much lighter marks have become even more lighter, so it may have made a change. On the other hand though i have been on a diet, so it could also be the fact I'm loosing weight. To find that out i will have to give up on either dieting or using the oil. Something I'm not willing to do in case it is a mixture of them both, that and i want to loose weight for the summer and so i am in much better health. I'm rambling.
I haven't had chance to look at the images i took. I believe there are 5 in total. I have lost my memory card reader AND my connection lead for my digital camera. Not good, i know. So as soon as i find either one of those i will be looking at them to see if there is any change. Fingers crossed there will be as i have had a lot of faith in this product.
EDIT: 11/04/12 - I have just uploaded the images of my stretch marks onto my laptop and looked at them carefully. I can honestly see absolutely NO change in them. I now feel really let down by this product and do not see the need to carry on using it. Johnson's promises visible results after just 4 weeks. Well, Johnson's, i have been using this for 5 weeks, so where are my visible results.
Looks like its jeans and leggings in the summer for me :(

Johnsons Skin Perfecting Oil | Week One
So, its Thursday again. Hasn't this year flown by so fast?
As promised, i will be keeping you updated on my war against stretch marks.
I have been using the Johnson's Skin Perfecting Oil twice a day every day for a week. Mostly concentrating on my legs, as they are the only ones really seen by others. I want decent pins for the summer :)
So far, i have seen an improvement on the feel of my skin. Its amazingly soft, baby soft in fact. My skin is never dry, even after a bath. My skin feels firmer too.
As for the colour of my stretch marks, i haven't really noticed much of a change, However my mum has. As she never really sees them and was asking about my progress i plucked up the courage to whip them out. She was pretty stunned and said that they are more of a pinky red as apposed to the deep purple they have been lately. If my mum has noticed a change, then I'm feeling pretty confident about how they are going to change in the next few weeks.
With the whether being as nice as it has been in the UK over the past few days we are all geared up for a lovely British summer. The saying about March goes "In like a Lamb, out like a Lion".
I was googling a few tricks and tips for a quick fix cover up and came across tons of websites saying that Sally Hansen's Spray on Legs is amazing for covering them. If i can find this product in stores, i will purchase it and test it out.
I have a wedding to go to in June and even though i have a gorgeous Maxi Dress picked out for the occasion, i also have a stunning coral dress. It is a knee length and even though it looks OK with black tights and black accessories (i can imagine this is only some peoples taste, but then you hate your legs you tend to like how things look with tights), i am going to be testing out some of the tricks i have come across in a hope that i can wear the coral dress.
As always, i will keep you updated.

White Nails + Glitter Top Coat.
Iv not seen many, if any at all, white nail polishes that aren't for french tips. And I'm not sure why to be honest.
The polish i used was just a simple 2 True white tip polish. It did take a few coats to get it looking like this though. Over that i added my 17 Glitter Top Coat that came from a set the released over Christmas as a free gift.
Personally, i think it looks nice, it does to me look a little on the christmassy side though.
I fancied a change from the usual, normal, colours i go for.
However, as it does take quite a few coats to get it looking very white, it take forever to dry. I even dipped my fingers in cold water for 5 minutes. They were still tacky, so I'm no longer wearing it.
Another downside is that the white tends to make your fingers either look sore, or mucky. My hands do have a little pale green on them because i was playing (failing) around with water marbling.
If anybody knows of a good white nail polish, please please let me know so i can retry this.

Bepanthen Nappy Care Ointment Vs Johnsons Soothing Naturals Nappy Cream
Im a mummy first, blogger second.
My 16 month baby little girl has had nappy rash for around 2 months now. It is getting much better and is almost gone. I have tried both Bepanthen Nappy Care Ointment and Johnsons Soothing Naturals Nappy Cream to try and get rid of it.
Here is my review on both products.
When she first came out with the rash we used sudocrem. This didnt last long as we found it very dry and didnt do a thing to the rash but make it look sore.
When browsing my local discount store i they were selling this Johnsons cream for 0.99p
It comes in a lovelt pale green tube that is the perfect size for any change bag. I thought for 0.99p i will give anything a try. Well, not anything but something from a reliable well know household brand. I dont just put anything on my babys tushy.
The product is white and isnt too thick in consistanct but doesnt run of your finger when trying to apply it. There is a scent to it which is quite nice. Its not too strong or overpowering. The plastic tube makes it easy to get the product out, just a little squeeze and you have enough. This retails for around £2.55 for 100ml from Boots.
Bepanthen is a completly different type of product. Also white, it feels very thick and much harder to spread, this isnt very good when you have a wriggley toddler. It feels much more oily compared to the Johnsons cream. It comes in a sort of metal/aluminium tube which tends to tear when you bend so some of the product does squirt out the sides. There is no scent to the product which is nice. This retails for around £2.65 for 30g from Boots.
As Amys nappy rash hasnt 100% cleared, i cant say either of these products are the perfect ones to use. Its taken me almost 2 months to get rid of her rash. They both do bring the rash down tons, but neither has completly beaten it. The Johnsons product is the cheaper of the two.
I do find myself reaching for the Johnsons product more than the Bepanthen as i find it much easier to use.

Deborah Lippman - Razzle Dazzle Nail Polish
After seeing so many people adoreing this nail polish after receiving this in their glossy boxes i just had to find it! I absolutly loved the colour of it as soon as i saw it.
Again, i did purchase this from Ebay. The seller explained that she wasnt a fan of glitter polishes and no longer wanted it. This was a bargin at £2.50.
As you can see it is a beautiful Purpley red colour with red shimmer in it. Such a gorgeous colour.
The first coat applies quite sheer, but after that dries you only need 1 more coat to get it looking like this.
It applies so easily and the brush is a good size.
It dries pretty quickly and its pretty hard wearing. I have had mine n for about 2 and a half days and it is still chip free. I didnt apply a top coat this time but as a tester i applied a Matte Top Coat to my thumb nail. I think it looks quite good. Next time i apply this i think i will add a top coat.
This is a mini size bottle, that picture above shows it next to a 10p coin. Unfortunatly i cannot read the tiny sticker on the bottom to tell you how much product you get in this, i think its around 8ml ( i could be very very wrong). This bottle retails for around £12 - £16.
My only cons of this item is that the finish on your nail feels very gritty, so you would need a good top coat to perfect this. For such an expensive product, you would think this wouldnt be an issue.
Also, for the size of the product i think that the retail price is a little steep. I have purchase a ton of ELF Nail Polishes for an excellent £1.50. The quality of those are excellent and they are very highly pigmented, and you get almost double the quantity.
Overall, i do think this is an excellent nail polish, just wish they were a little cheaper
Mac Eyeshadow - Moonflower
I am in love with Ebay at the moment. My most recent purchase is this beautiful Mac Eyeshadow in the shade Moonflower. Now, im no expert on Mac, but i do know that you have to be very carful when ordering products online as i have come across a few fakes. However, i have googled the death out of this item and have found its a discontunued shade. Am i right? The seller added in the description that it is 100% genuine, and she is only seeling it cheap because she wants rid as she is having a huge clearout. She also had over 2000 possitive feedback results and most of her other selling items were high end products.
Iv taken a good look at the pagkaging after watching and reading blogs about how to spot Mac fakes, and this one looks pretty geniune to me. What do you guys think?
The colour is a dark grey - blue with slight silver shimmer to it.
Perfect for adding a little something to a smokey eye.
I tried so many times to get a shot of the name, but my camera refused me tonight. This is the best i could get. Sorry guys.
Please ignore my amazing jammies :)
This is the eyeshadow swatched. The first is it swatched straight from pot to finger to arm. The second is it blended out slightly.
When swatched it is a little lighter than it is in the pan, but it is still such a pretty colour.
Even if it isnt a real mac eyeshadow,(im pretty certain its real) im still in love with it.

Babyliss Curling Wand
So iv been after a curling wand for a while now, and i have finally purchased this Babyliss Curling Wand.
I love curling my hair and have tried many many products, simple curling tongs with a clamp, Babyliss press and curl, curl formers, moose and scrunching my hair, braiding my hair, using the headband technique and curlformers.
None, appart from curlformers have givin me the kind of curls that iv been wanting.
Curlformers are amazing, but you need to put them in your hair well before your wanting to be ready. They are also quite painful to sleep with.
This product is by far the best ever.
My sister-in-law has a herstyler curling wand, and i found the actual wand part(?) was too narrow for my likings and gave me very, very tight curls. I have very fine hair so its quite hard for me to just use bigger chunks of hair with out putting all my hair around it.
The actually product has 5 heat ranges which is perfect for me, as i can just select a slighly cooler heat for my finer hair so i dont destroy it as much. It comes with a heat protection glove with is very handy. It also has an on and off switch, which i rarely see on hair tools. My remmington straightners dont have a switch neither does my Babyliss press and curl.
That is by far not the most flattering of pictures, but it is the only one i have taken where iv used this product sofar. At this point i hadnt applied hair spray. I had these curls all day, they only dropped a tiny bit, which is usually expected.
My hair is quite long, but very fine and it takes me approximatly around 20 minutes to do the whole of my head.
I deffinaly reccomend this product. They make fabulous curls and is extreamly cheap. At the moment they retail for £24.99 from Argos.
An excellent purchase.

Elf Studio Blush - Fuchsia Fusion
This is the Elf Studio Blush in the shade Fuchsia Fusion. It is a bright pink colour with gold shimmer to it. It retails at £3.50 from Eyeslipsface.co.uk.
This is the swatch from the website. In my opinion it is a slightly darker shade of pink than it actually is.
My camera didn't pick up the gold shimmer as i had hoped, but this is the swatch i took. As you can see it is a much brighter pink. The top swatch is how it looks in the pan and the bottom swatch is how it would look on your cheeks. It is a very buildable blush, however it is very very bright, i tend to use just a tiny amount to give a slightly flushed look. It is the perfect shade for the summer.
As you blend the blush on your cheeks the gold shimmer does tend to move about more than the actual colour, so you do can end up with a gold outline on you cheek, at the top it looks good as it looks like a highlight.
You really cant go wrong for the price. I think you need to be very careful when ordering from the website as the swatches are not always true to life. However, i have ordered many products and have been 100% happy with everything i have purchased so far. All the colours are just a tiny bit lighter or darker, in my opinion.
This product will definitely be my go to blush in the summer.
MUA Immaculate Collection Palette
This gorgeous palette is from the professional line. If im right, it was a free gift over the christmas period.
I was given this by a good friend of mine.
There are 25 amazing shades in this palette, ranging from matt, pearl and shimmer finishes.
It has deffinatly been my go to palette latetly. You can create so many look.
Swatches L-R
Top Row.
The 3rd colour in the bottom row (in this image) is deffinatly one of my favourite shades.
Middle Row.
Bottom Row.
The retail price of this £8 from Superdrug, which is a complte bargin. As you can see all the colours are highly pigmented. I have found they are very blendable and easy to work with. It is deffinatly a must have for all make up collections!
The only downside i have found is that of the 2nd to last colour. It is a matte brown shade and doesnt give much pay off. It looks like the perfect colour for a nude-smokey eye look. Its such a shame its not very good in this palette.
All the colours are numberd, as with most of MUA products. They dont have names, unlike most brands. I think this is something the company should look into.

17 Nail Polish Review.
My First Review :)
I recently purchased a new 17 Fast Finish Nail Polish. In the colour Revenge.
Im quite a fan of the brand 17, avaliable at Boots. I have plenty of Nail Polishes, i have tried the foundations, pressed powders and a couple of their eyeshaddows.
I can honetly say for the price, i am a fan.
So when i picked up this Nail Polish i was expecting it to be as wonderful as all the rest i had, appart from their magnatised range. I will do a seperate blog post for those.
The colour is a lovely dusty purple, with a little shimmer.
The colour swatch that boots.com shows is a little more pinkHowever looking at the rest of the swatches online and comparing them i think that "Gemstone" looks more true to colour, so maybe they have the swatches mixed up.
I apologise for the bad lighting, it used my Blackberry to take the pictures, next time i will use my digital camera so you can see the colour better.
This is after 2 coats, and a base coat.
I really like the colour, it is very wearable and dries so quickly.
My only issue is that i have had it on for around 2 hours. I have washed and tidied up the house and it is already chipped.
I found that with the magnetised range that they chipped very easy too, even with a top coat.
However, i do tend to change my Nail Polish every other day so i dont feel that big of a deal.
For £2.99, you cant do any better, in my opinion.
