OOTD | Benefit Event

On Friday i attended the Benefit #FakeUp Event. Here is what i wore.

Dress - Boohoo.com
Tights - Primark
Bag - Primark
Heels - Primark
Nails - Nails Ink Leather Effect

I didn't go too dressed up as i didn't want to be the one who is over dressed. However i did want to look presentable. As i had been quite ill this week i didnt want to wear anything too fussy so just went with a simple skater dress and added a belt. I wish i hadnt worn these heels as ever since being prengant i just cannot walk in them. I thought id give it a go put the pain got the better of me by the end of the night.

Amy OOTD | #1

Leggings and Dress Outfit - George @ Asda
Hair Clip - Sainsburys
Little Model.

I really love this outfit i picked up from Asda before Christmas. It was her Boxing Day outfit as it is pretty comfortable for her and nothing too dressy that can be worn again and again. I love the fact that it can be worn with so many other things. The dress can be worn with Jeans and the Leggings can be worn with other dresses, T-shirts and under skirts. Cant go wrong for £6 really.

OOTD #1 | Getting back into the swing of things.

I thought i would get back into blogging with an easy OOTD post.

Top - Primark
Shirt - H&M
Tights - Forever 21

The top seen in the image is a Black Sabbath Band T-Shirt from Primark. I absolutely love band tee's at the moment.

Seeing as you guys haven't seen me for ages, i will mention that i have had my hair highlighted blonde by my bestie Sam from WhenFlowersFall, however, the next time you see me i will most likely have it back brown. I do love having blonde hair it is just too hard to keep up and i would like my natural colour back at some point in my life before i go grey. :)

Leeds Blogger Meet Up 2012 + OOTD

So yesterday, 18/7/2012 was the Leeds Blogger Meet Up hosted by Ray and Tor at Mook Bar Leeds.
As i haven't been blogging for very long this was my first. There was around 32 of us that went.
The day was amazing.

Cardigan - New Look
Dress - H&M
Footless Tights - Next
Wedges - Primark
Bag - Next

We had talks from 2 companies, Xen-Tan a fake tanning company and Wild a skin cosmetics company.
I had never heard of either of the companies before i received information about the event so was very intrigued to see what they were like.

The meet up lasted around 3 hours, however as we were all having so much fun it seemed only 1 hour and i definitely didn't want it to end. I met some very lovely bloggers there. Everyone was so friendly and chatty.

Just a few of the bloggers

During the event Ray and Tor handed out some amazing goodie bags filled with some great products from companies like Impress, Star Gazer, Blistex, Kukee and many many more. I cannot them enough for putting on the event.

OOTD - First Ever

Yesterday my friend Sam, from WhenFlowersFall, came to visit and we were going to take advantage of the sun and chill out in my garden. However, the sun didn't show that day but it was crazy hot. After having some lunch in my garden we decided to go for a walk. We are both wanting to shed a few pounds so decided to walk out lunch off. Admittedly, neither of us were dressed for a walk around some fields. We ended up walking 2 miles. We found this little bridal path that cut through the fields and led us home quicker, so decided to take some pictures in the middle of it.

5 March 2012

Im Baaaack!

Finally. Im back in the mood for blogging.
It has been a pretty tough few weeks for me, i wont go into too much detail
Firstly my mum, who has a serious illness, has been in hospital. Thankfully it was nothing too serious in the end and is now back out and on the mend.
Over the weekend it was the anniversary of my grandads death, i always find this a really tough time, even 11 years on.
I have been feeling pretty ill over the weekend. I think its a combination of my Asthma and the crazy changes in the weather. One minute its really nice and sunny, on Thursday it was so warm. I thought summer had arrived early, but yesterday it was snowing again. Strange huh?

So today im feeling a little fragile and nursing a sore thoat and a snuffily toddler.
Now that she is happily napping away i thought id get out the laptop and catch up with the blogging.

I am back on my intense diet as of this morning. Im in 2 minds wether to get back on the soup diet or just have small protions and eat with everyone else.
On the soup diet i lost some weight, but not as much as id liked. It does get pretty boring too.
Im going to aim to do around 200 sit ups a day for a week, and then up it too 250, then 300 and so on untill im happy with the amount im doing and then maintain a steady number. At the moment i can do around 200 with out my stomach acheing like crazy. (FYI i dont do them all at once, i do 100 in the morning and 100 in the evening. It works for me) Im also going to be taking Amy out for walks now that the weather is looking much nicer. I have found a new little duck pond just a nice walk away from me so will be taking Amy there.

As some of you may know i am coated in stretch marks. Some from my pregnancy and some from weight gain and weight loss. Lately, they have been getting me down so much and i am feeling very self consious, my confidence is rock bottom. I was tempted to speak to my doctor about them but i cant deal with the embarrasment of showing him. The only people who have seen them are Paul and my sister. The only people i can honsestly trust not to laugh at me.
I have been doing some research on a new Johnsons Skin Perfecting Oil for Stretch Marks. It retails between £9.99 and £14.99. I have tried Bio-Oil and Palmers Stretch Mark Cream and found it made my skin red and itchy, i think i may have been allergic. So i am willing to try this product. It advertises that you can see visible results in just 4 weeks. I will do anything to see visible results in 4 weeks. I will be doing a weekly post on this if i ever find the damn product.

I also have a few reviews for you and will be doing some OOTDs
:)
