Johnsons Skin Perfecting Oil for Stretch Marks | First Impression

So, this is going to be a little series on the NEW Johnson's Skin Perfecting Oil for Stretch Marks.
It is a new product in the Johnson's Beauty range that promises visible results after just 4 weeks.
I am going to put this to the test.

If you have read my previous post you will know iv been searching for this product since i found out it was released (around a week ago). It has been sold out in most stores but i eventually found it in Leeds City Centre Boots priced at £9.99 for 100ml.
I 'suffer' from stretch  marks and have done since i hit puberty. They first arrived on my hips and thighs around the age of 12. They never bothered me that much but over the years as iv been dieting and my weight constantly changing they have appeared more and more around my hips and thighs. Even then, they still never bothered me that much. Until July 2010.... That's when the struck!! I fell pregnant November 2009 and was due with my little girl in September 2010. My stomach was fine until July. A couple appeared and that's when i started slapping on the coco butter, but unfortunately it was too late to prevent them. Like most pregnant women i gained weight, around 2st (if that) and my legs suffered the most and i had bright shocking purple stretch marks from my hips to my ankles. The ones of my calf's are now tiny and silver, hardly visible. Its the ones around my knees i HATE!! These are the ones that get me down in the summer because i cant walk around in skirts, dresses or shorts with out having tights or leggings on.
So this is my challenge. This summer i AM going to feel confident with my legs out. I'm going on a family Holiday and i am determined to feel confident around the pool with my daughter.

Product First Impressions
With this product being an oil i expected it to be very greasy and to just sit on my skin, very much like i found Johnson's Baby Oil and Bio  Oil to be like. However, to me, its not. Its consistency is an oil. When i first pour (the 150ml bottle is a spray, 100ml bottle just has a pour cap) a few drops onto my hand it feels oily and once i rub it into the back of my legs it feels a little thicker, something along the lines of a gel. As it says on the bottle, i rub in circular motions in the area i am tackling. Once rubbed in it my skin feels so soft. This product doesn't just sit on your skin, it soaks in like a lotion. Which i love because then i can just get dressed and get on with my day, i don't have to sit in my underwear for an hour until it dries.
So far, i am loving this product. I apply it to the areas i need and any excess i have on my hands i apply to the rest of my body. A little goes a long way so i think this bottle will last at least 4 weeks, hopefully longer.

My skin is so soft after just 3 days. I purchased and started using this product on Thursday and apply it twice a day. If it can improve the softness as dramatically as it has in 3 days, i am feeling confident about it reducing my stretchmarks in 4 weeks.

I have taken a photo of what the back of my legs looked like on the first day and i will continue to take a photo each week. If i am feeling confident enough, i will post them on the final day of the challenge which will be March 29th. Each week i will post a short update on how I'm feeling about the product.

Disclaimer: I purchased this product with MY own money. I am not being paid to write this review.
