Sorry for not so great quality, i wanted to make sure i got an untouched image of it before i used it to death. This was taken on the plane. |
Anyway, i picked this little lovely up at the airport going. It was price £6.49 which i thought was pretty good for a L'oreal Lipstick. Generally, it retails for £7.99 in Boots.
The lipstick is a lovely, deep pink with a hint of brown and looks much darker in bullet form. It reminds me of another favourite of mine which is the 17 Mirror Shine Lipstick in Belle.
The consistency of it is in between a balm and a lipstick, its very sheer when first applied but is build able to get a good solid colour. Id say this is very much a 'your lips but better' shade for lack of a better phrase, so you don't get much colour out of this shade. However it does give a nice glossy shine to the lips somewhat like a lip gloss with out the sticky mess.
Lasting power? Around 3-4 hours. It is very moisturising too which is an added bonus. It has been my complete go to whilst i was away. i did take my latest Rimmel Lipsticks but they were demoted to my make up bag rather than my everyday bag as i felt this was much easier to wear with out a full face of make up, moisturised my lips in the heat and doesn't need a mirror to help me apply.
I found it quite amusing that my mum and I both got the same shade at the airport so payed around £13 for both, yet in Malaga airport coming home the 'duty free' was charging €13 for 1! Rip off. I also saw a MAC counter and was so excited to finally see some abroad but gave it a miss as they were charging between €14 and €16 for 1 lipstick. It works out to be no cheaper.
p.s i have no idea why the font and colour changes towards the end, anybody know how to fix this?
