Perfect 10 Instant Nails Review.

Ok guys, this isnt going to be a great review!

After trying out the ImPress Nails i received in my #LeedsBloggerMeetUp2012 goodie bag i decide i wanted more. I couldn't find any ImPress ones in the Tescos i was in when i had the thought so i opted for these. I thought they were really natural looking and had a promising "Lasts 10 Days" sing on the front. They were around the £4.50 mark as they were on offer but retail for £4.95 from Amazon.

They were really easy to apply with the glue that is provided and i found that the nails i picked fit really well, however the ones i did pic were the smallest in the packet. If you have tiny nails you will struggle or need to file them down. The biggest actually was big enough for me to stick on my big toe. They are also very flimsy in the packet.

When i was applying them i did notice that there was an issue with the glue, it seemed to change the colour of the actual nail which you can also see on my (as you look at it) left thumb nail. Close up in person you can see it on a few other nails. They felt very comfortable when on and felt secure.
Until i decided to do something, as i applied these on the night i wasn't doing much to notice wether they were good in my day to day activities. The next day i had plans to take my birthday girl out with my best friend Sam, I actually broke one of the nails in half picking up Amy's car seat. Throughout the day another came of when i was just walking around and about an hour later another fell off.
Sadly, i wont repurchasing these again, or recommending them to someone who actually wants to wear them for a lengthy time. I was hoping they would last until at least the start of my holiday, on Saturday. I applied these on Monday (sorry for the late upload).

ImPRESS False Nails

I have always loved using false nails but never found a brand that i feel actually stay on for the time length they say they do, so was willing to try these out. I received them in my Leeds Blogger Meet Up goodie bag.

The packet i received were the french tips ones D010 Rock It, however i know that you can paint over them with your colour of choice well if you fancy a change.

Application is simple. All you have to do is pick the correct size for you nail, pull the sticky tab off the back and press it onto your nail. Easy right? Well, i did have a little struggle getting my second nail on. For some reason it just refused to stick. I'm not sure if its the false nail or my nail. This was something i easily resolved with some nail glue i had lying around. After i finished my first hand i struggled to pull of the tabs with the hand that had the falsies on. I eventually managed it.
The set does come with a "prep pad" which unfortunately isn't in English so I'm not 100% sure what it does but I'm guessing it strips the oils from your nails. Sadly, i was too eagar to apply the nails so only saw this after.

After i applied them i felt the tips were a little scratchy, but that was easily buffed out. They aren't the most natural looking nails but they do look nice. I have had them on for around 1 hour and they are still very stuck on. The box says they last around 1 week so i am certainly going to put this to the test and put an update.
